Sherwah.com is the digital home of a multi-generational agricultural and trading group. We have evolved from a traditional farming estate into a dynamic hybrid enterprise.
Today, we operate at the intersection of production and trade. We are large-scale cultivators of field crops, exporters of premium produce, and importers of global commodities. Whether supplying cotton ginning factories with raw cotton, exporting Aseel dates to the world, or delivering fresh mangoes to local families, our commitment remains the same: integrity in every grain, bale, and bean.
It Started with the Water (1815–1820)
Our story begins in the late 18th century. The land we now cultivate was once barren earth, waiting for life.
Between 1815 and 1820, our ancestor, Mir Sher Muhammad Talpur, undertook a monumental engineering task: the construction of a water channel to irrigate this arid region. The canal was named Sherwah—combining “Sher” (Lion, from his name) and “Wah” (Water Channel).
That canal did more than supply water; it birthed a community and a livelihood. Our great-grandfathers transformed the dust into flourishing fields of grain, laying the foundations of the farm that exists today. While modern irrigation has evolved, the remnants of the original Sherwah canal still wind through our land—a silent, enduring reminder of the vision that defines our heritage.

Headquartered at our ancestral residence in Tando Mir Ghulam Muhammad, Mirpur Khas, our cultivation operations span the fertile soils of Deh 136 and 137, Taluka Sindhri, District Mirpur Khas, and Deh Bulghai, District Tando Allahyar.
- Bulk Commodities: We cultivate Wheat, Cotton, Mustard, and Sugarcane over vast acreage for B2B supply to mills and wholesalers.
- Seasonal Retail: We maintain orchards of premium Mangoes and other fruits, available for direct-to-consumer delivery during harvest seasons.
Sherwah Global & Ventures
We bridge the gap between South Asia and Southeast Asia, connecting markets through our specialized import and export arms.
- Exports: Taking the best of Sindh, including our Aseel Dates, to international markets.
- Imports: Through our sister companies in Malaysia and Indonesia, we source premium commodities—such as high-grade Coffee Beans—bringing global flavors to our local customers.

The Sherwah Group is owned and directed by Mir Atta Muhammad Talpur and his son, Mir Ghulam Muhammad Talpur. Combining decades of agricultural wisdom with modern business acumen, they continue the legacy of stewardship started by Mir Sher Muhammad Talpur over two centuries ago.
